Doing Business with Botswana

Dr Rebecca Maserumule, Chief Director Hydrogen and Energy at the National Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) discussing the role of international partnerships in the implementation of the Hydrogen Society Roadmap. Mr Andrew Dickson, Development Manager with CWP Global regarding their international green hydrogen and ammonia renewable energy at a macro scale and Mr Kieran Whyte, Partner and head of Baker McKenzie Energy, Mining and Infrastructure Practice in Johannesburg discussing the regulatory environment in South Africa’s renewables sector.

Austrade’s Talking Fintech event, co-hosted with Duncan Harris of the AACC, covered all aspects of FinTech in Africa, with a particular focus on the trends, opportunities, and growth prospects in this fast-growing sector.
Africa METS Accelerator Program
With the assistance of Global Victoria, the AACC is undertaking a 12-month long project that will see Victorian mining, equipment and technology services (METS) exporters foster new and fruitful business ties with Australian mining companies operating in Africa’s most active resource-‐based economies, specifically South Africa, Botswana and Ghana.
